Assisted owner/director in managing a Counseling office of 12-14 counselors.

• Oversaw daily operation of the agency.
• Delegated tasks to Office Assistant and undergraduate interns.

• Assist counselors with organization and time management as needed

• Managed over 400 client accounts and kept records of any fees or refunds due (via spreadsheets, transaction logs, and billing software).
• Issued checks for rent, expenses, purchase, client refunds and kept accurate records
• Maintained Accounts Receivable duties
• Completed monthly itemized “timesheets” for contracted counselors (their paychecks)
• Processed mail (payments, client documents, etc)

• Maintain professional relationships with 3rd party payers and other professionals.
• Answered phone, directing calls and answering questions.

• Completed daily insurance billing
• Maintained familiarity of CPT Coding & ICD-10
• Completed credentialing/enrollment applications for counselors for various insurance panels and EAP services
• Submitted claim adjustments and appeals when necessary
• Confirmed client insurance eligibility and benefits via Availity & various insurance provider portals.
• Maintain client files in a neat and organized fashion including entering client data into the business' billing database.

• Managed Google Workspace account as administrator; including, but not limited to: creating accounts, designing and managing content on agency’s website, and organizing and setting up Team Drives.
• Upheld Notary license for business needs
